Garlic Green Beans

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb green beans, rinsed & ends trimmed

  • 2 tbsp of J & Jay's Olive oil

  • (Kosher) Salt and black pepper

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 tsp of lemon juice

  • 1/4-1/2 cup of grated parmesan (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat the J & Jay's olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the green beans to the hot oil and cook for up to 10 minutes, tossing occasionally, until the green beans are softened and begin to crisp

  3. Add the garlic and continue cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes

  4. Remove the green beans from heat and season with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Add parmesan cheese and stir if desired.

  5. Serve up to 4 people

TIPS

  • Add more infused olive oil or substitute regular olive oil based on desired dosages

  • Can be cooked with infused butter instead of olive oil, substitute regular butter based on desired dosages

  • Amount of garlic and seasoning can vary based on desired taste preferences

  • Add in red pepper flakes to add in a punch of spice
