Blondie Bars

Chewy, delectable blondie bars topped with the creamy white chocolate chips offer a sweet indulgent snack that can be served as any occasion.

INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup cannabutter, melted

• 2 cups light brown sugar, packed

• 2 large eggs

• 1 tbsp vanilla extract

• 2 cups all-purpose flour

• 1 tsp baking powder

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 1 cup white chocolate chips

• (Optional) 1 cup chopped nuts of choice

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal and cleanup.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the cannabutter and light brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips and any other toppings (e.g. chopped nuts) until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

  6. Pour the batter into a baking pan, spreading it out evenly with a spatula before baking in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

  7. Remove the blondies from the oven and allow them to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

  8. Once cooled, cut the blondies into squares or bars of desired size before serving.

TIPS

• Use cannabis-infused coconut-oil for a different flavour profile

• Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat
